Lauren’s presentation covered the key differences between commercial and residential foreclosures, highlighted the unique requirements of commercial foreclosure proceedings, and addressed how to conduct a commercial mortgage foreclosure under the statutory power of sale. She also discussed common pitfalls and snares for the unwary, including the importance of complying with statutory notice and publication requirements and properly conducting and documenting the foreclosure sale.
