Ryan is a litigator and advisor who represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters, with a particular focus on construction, business, insurance, and real estate disputes. He represents clients in Massachusetts state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, mediation, and private settlement negotiations.
Ryan regularly advises owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and individuals in public and private construction matters. His experience includes contract disputes, payment claims, construction defect claims, insurance-related disputes, property damage claims, mechanic’s lien issues, and other complex civil litigation matters.
Ryan is known for developing practical, comprehensive case strategies tailored to each client’s goals. Whether a matter calls for early resolution, aggressive motion practice, mediation, arbitration, or trial, Ryan works to provide efficient, cost-effective representation while keeping clients informed and prepared at each stage of the process.
Ryan has been selected to the Massachusetts Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers from 2021 through 2026 and recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation – Construction since 2026. Prior to joining Hackett Feinberg, Ryan practiced at Massachusetts litigation firms where he represented businesses and individuals in complex tort, construction, insurance, and civil litigation matters. He lives in Hanover with his wife, their two children, and their two rescue dogs. Outside the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, running, relaxing at the beach, and trying new South Shore pizza spots.
