Michael Lipson concentrates his practice on commercial real estate development and general finance matters. His clientele includes individuals, businesses, lenders, and developers of all sizes.
Michael regularly assists lenders in the financing of commercial real estate, industrial, and business loans. In this role, he works closely with lenders to structure, negotiate, and document transactions through the preparation and negotiation of loan documents, the review of due diligence (including survey and title in real estate loans), and the perfection of security interests.
Michael also provides legal guidance on entity formation, corporate governance, business acquisitions and sales, and commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
Michael also has experience working with local, regional, and national condominium developers on the creation, development, and sale of condominium units and buildings.
Prior to joining Hackett Feinberg, Michael worked at an Am Law 200 law firm and later at a boutique law firm, representing both borrowers and institutional lenders at each stop. Michael draws on his experience to understand the needs of both sides – whether it be for a large or modest transaction, which allows him to shepherd the parties through the deal by providing sensible advice and timely results that meet his client’s objectives.
